Non NHS Services

Private Work Fees

The NHS provides most healthcare free of charge. However, GPs are self-employed, and some services are not covered by NHS funding.

For any non-NHS services, a fee will apply. Your GP or a member of staff will let you know about any charges before the work is carried out.

We also provide private medical examinations—for example, those required by employers, insurance companies, or for overseas visa applications.

Other examples of non-NHS funded work include:

  • Private sick notes
  • Fitness to travel or participate certificates
  • Passport or driving licence signature
  • Copy of full medical records
  • Copy of small medical records
  • Copy of test results
  • Holiday cancellation forms

For more information, including current charges, please contact the Practice Manager.
